It really is not that difficult! What takes some getting used to is how to use the pens which you do with any other medium. If we are talking about the crafters burner you can pick up at any craft store then yes, that is a bit more difficult and a whole other story =P But the controlled burners really allow you to do a lot of amazing things =D

Thank you! Wood burning is really not all that hard, its just like any other tool =) If you know how to do pen and ink or pencil drawings you would be great at this!
